Reason for Response

Requested by ABCD Store Manager due to a disruptive individual at the entrance.

• Mike Smith – Store Manager, B/M, DOB: 08/11/1988

• Jane Doe – Suspect, W/F, DOB: 06/06/2000

• Officer King – Local PD

 

Incident Overview

At approximately 6:55 AM, while on duty and in full uniform, I was alerted by Store Manager Mike Smith about a female harassing customers. I activated my body camera and responded to the front entrance, where I observed the individual later identified as Jane Doe grabbing customers and demanding money.

 

Upon approaching, I identified myself as security and instructed her to leave. She responded with profanity and displayed a knife. I drew my OC spray and ordered her to drop the weapon. She complied and fled into the parking lot.

 

I recovered the knife, confirmed no injuries occurred, and reported the incident to my supervisor, Jake. Officer King from the local police department arrived on the scene.
